La Finca

La Finca is hidden in a corner of the Calchaquí Valley, over 60 miles away from Cafayate and 8000 ft high, in one of the most compelling lands of the New World. Remote, in extreme height, La Finca is a spiritual hideaway for those that enjoy harmony amid wine, nature and challenges in a harsh, desert valley, with breathtaking ravines and sentinel giant cactuses.

WHERE THE WINE IS BORN

Our land bears the mark of extreme altitude. It is located in one of the regions with the largest amount of sunlight in the world, where there is practically no rainfall at all. The water needed by the vines is regulated via irrigation, and absorbed by the sandy loam of the foothills of the Andes, over 50 million years old. The abrasive heat of day-time and the raw cold of night-time in this isolated corner of the Valley, clean from any pollution, temper the vines. The fruit: grapes with a thick skin, rich in tannins and phenols, which endow our wines with character and elegance.

FLORA AND FAUNA

At La Finca, amid the foothills, everything is in harmony with nature. Native flowers, which grow with extreme patience, and wild animals, are the gems of the untouched landscape and add life to the vast.
